Description of contents [complied in 1993]: Assorted slides; Individuals and places of considerable significance to Methodist Church of New Zealand.
The original wooden box bears a handwritten note: “Rev. Fred J. Parker, for anyone who can use them.” A second paper note found inside reads: “Mainly Māori Slides, Ministers, Churches, English Scenes.”
Many of the slides include captions, though they are unnumbered and appear to be grouped into five categories: England and other destinations; miscellaneous slides; portraits of Methodist ministers; Methodist churches across New Zealand; and the Methodist Māori Mission and New Zealand landscapes.
